About Tampa Bay Agility Club
(The Tampa Bay Agility Club, Inc. (TBAC) promotes the activity of dog agility in the greater Tampa Bay area. In addition to hosting agility events, we support local shelters and offer training and education opportunities for our members. TBAC is a Florida Not-For-Profit Corporation, 501(c)(4).
The Tampa Bay Agility Club (TBAC) was formed by a group of agility enthusiasts who have been training together for a number of years. Their desire in forming the club was to give those in the Tampa Bay area who enjoy the sport of dog agility an organization to facilitate training, camaraderie, and competition, as well as community service and education.
In addition to holding member training sessions and hosting American Kennel Club Agility Trials, TBAC holds charity drives each year. Our “HurriCanine” Drive focuses on collecting items needed by the Community of Hillsborough Animal and Agricultural Response Team (CHAART) and Hillsborough County Animal Services (HCAS) to stay prepared for hurricanes and other disaster events. We also hold a Dog Food Drive that focuses on collecting food, treats, and toys to support HCAS. Many of our members also participate in local teach-in and other events to expose people to dog agility and increase awareness about responsible dog ownership.
